Courage is the name of this special piece, handwoven on a high-warp loom, but it is constructed in a series of panels, the concept initially is that it can be adapted in terms of dimensions, smaller or larger, to suit your needs.

Each panel measures approximately 1.40 x 90 cm, the dimensions may vary slightly once the pieces have been dismantled from the loom.

The structural warp of the carpet is made of cotton and the blocks (weft) are woven with wool and cotton.

The pouff is made by in-house, is filled with a high-density foam, very resistant and non-deformable, is lined with eco-leather and is woven in its own structure, a hybrid technique between loom weaving and basket weaving. The structural warp in this case is of thick wool to play a little with the effect of the contrast of the wefts with the cotton and wool of the weave of the panels.

The pouff is adapted to fit the measurements of the carpet panels, but I also encourage it to be used as a unique object.

This time I wanted to work with just one weave and create textures, combining yarn thicknesses and twists in the manipulation of the yarns to make the piece more functional and long-lasting.
