This series of Planos Cromáticos has behind a very special story, the venue location is at Casa Aymat in Sant Cugat, and old carpet factory, renewed and transformed into a Art Centre, where I attend in 2020 as an artist residency, a beautiful experienced which end into a solo show called Variacions.Planos Cromáticos works as a textile solution for indoor or outdoors spaces, being able to transform a room into a colorful but in a very subtle way, to separate or delimit areas or just to be hanged as a paint bringing light, movement and color vibrations.

This installation was created to be showcase in the 2020 Edition in Collectible Design Fair in Brussels, a colorful, light and modular art piece, full of textures, with a color palette in blues and pinks, transparencies and blurriness merges into light and shadows.

A chromatic study constructed by layers of colors of tulle fabric, a fabric characterized by its lightness and transparency but at the same time rigid, it will be the main element to create blocks of color composition, which will generate in the union points an overlay, thus creating delicate new ranges of color, generating a transition effect between the main predominant color blocks. Offering the viewer a chromatic variations produced by the chromosaturation obtained from the composition of the color modules materialized in the space in which it is found, influencing elements of nature and / or the viewer's position.

Exposes a textile vision, intertwined and overlapping, connecting colour research and how colour relates to the viewer. Following on from the theories of the Venezuelan cinematic movement, Mariadela poses her vision, experiments and investigates how colour directly affects our lives.
While the materials and compositions of the presented works may differ, the common thread is one of colour. Leaving behind the typical format of fabric on fabric or classical embroidery, and moving the work into another format, the viewer is directly confronted with chromatic variations produced by the scale of the colour modules materialized in the physical space.
These works significantly influence the environment in which they are in and the position in which the viewer is located, thus offering different chromatic intensities - by the type of material, texture, transparency and format.
